Our new 42' custom sport fisher "Super Fly" captained by David Mesen.

  • 455 h.p. C-7 Cats with a 9kw Northern Lights generator set.
  • Beam is 13 feet. At 14 degrees dead rise, needs no trim tabs at all.
  • Fully loaded cruise speed at 75% power is a true 26 knots.
  • 25kw X band radar, 5,000’ Echosounder
  • GPS Navigator on Nav-Net screens, Simrad Autopilot, Two VHF Radios, And JBL Stereo
  • 2-16,500 BTU A/C units.

The hull is laminated with 4 crossed layers of ¼”cold-molded laurel blanco, a light weight strong substitute for mahogany covered with protective layers of fiberglass. The superstructure is Meranti marine plywood incased in fiberglass and faired to perfection; 500lbs-per-day ice chipper feeding into a 6’, below-deck fish box, large, below-deck live bait well, 4 hide-away tuna tubes built into gunwale, Rupp, triple-spreader outriggers; release rocket-launcher-back fighting chair, release, highly polished helm chair. Full size head forward.
